DVD Movie binderReview Date: 2009-12-23 Rating: 6 out of 10The product was a big disappointment. Although the photos show the 3-hole punch, which would allow you to easily move the "pages" to keep them in order as you add new ones, the 3 holes aren't used.
Previous such binders had a standard 3-ring attachment method. This one has two slots, through which a plastic strap feeds, to bind the pages together.
Very cheap and funky, unlike the earlier model.
Reviewsgreat CD/DVD 3-ring binderReview Date: 2009-09-11 Rating: 10 out of 10This case is great because it is a three-ring binder that holds the sleeves in. The ring aspect of it is really what makes this case so great because you can open them and insert a sleeve in any place: front, middle, back. I alphabetize my dvd's so this really makes for less work. CaseLogic has discontinued making these three-ring binder types in favor of plastic strips that can only open on one side, so you can only add new sleeves onto the front.
The case zips closed so no dirt and grit can get into it, and you can also carry them more freely than those that don't zip because the CD's won't fall out if you accidentally carry it upside down. It feels very sturdily built, no fear of my case falling apart any time soon/any time at all.
The sleeves (which sometimes are different types than i will describe) have an insert for a DVD front case insert on one side and slots for two DVD's on the other side. so if you don't want to bring your whole case to the dvd player, you can j7ust take out that one sleeve and all the information is contained together, instead of apart (which is what some sleeves make you do.)
I am VERY pleased with this wallet and plan on never reliquishing it for any reason.Bought a 3-ring BinderReview Date: 2008-06-22 Rating: 6 out of 10I bought two of these. After I put some 20 different titles in the wallet (the dvd on the left, the liner on the right), I realised that if I wanted to add into my wallet (which is alphabetised), I'd have to reshift ALL the dvds either before or after it.
So now, it's organised in such a way that the liner is on the right and the accompanying dvd is behind it. But because this is not a 3-ring binder, you have to remove all the dvds before a title to insert it alphabetically, as the other reviewers have bemoaned.
So then I searched Amazon to find this: www.amazon.com/Avery-27554-Durable-Reference-capacity/dp/B0006HV8V2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=office-products&qid=1214098565&sr=8-1
Since the dvd sleeves are three-hole punched, they will fit into this 3 ring binder (which does not zip close). I think I will purchase this binder and just chuck the wallet.
The only unfortunate thing is I bought two wallets; I should have just bought the refills/inserts & a three-ring binder....Case Logic problemsReview Date: 2008-03-17 Rating: 4 out of 10I have been purchasing Case Logic dvd products for many years now. They are getting harder and harder to find. When I came across the picture of the product, it was exactly what I was looking for, three ring dvd binders, what I already have, so I purchased a couple. Unfortunately, Amazon does not recognize the importance of making certain they actually sell what they advertise in their photos, and I received different cases. I have a couple of these cases - they are not the three ring binders Case Logic first produced. They consist of two snap-in tabs which, if you're like me and alphabetize your collection, makes it a true pain in the neck to add dvd's. I stated this to Amazon, who quickly issued a return sticker and re-shipped the item before doing as I asked and checking to see if the product sent would be as shown in the photo. Not one of the multiple e-mail correspondances addressed my specific concern. Needless to say I received the same product. I wish someone was interested in all aspects of customer service and the company advertised what they are really selling. I will not stop buying from Amazon, but I'll have to try and find Case Logic products elsewhere.Dislike the New DesignReview Date: 2007-05-06 Rating: 6 out of 10I have several of these wallets for my DVDs. The older version has metal three-ring binders. The new design allows quick access, but only to the DVDs in the front. If you want to add any pages, you have to remove the pages in the front; in other words, if you want to add to the back of the book, you have to remove all of the pages! I find this very irritating.
